At the scene, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds in his torso and legs lying in the parking lot. The man, identified by police as Andre Cheers Jr., 38, of Lorain, was flown to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland. Sivert said Monday Cheers is in stable condition.

Sivert said police are collecting evidence and looking for witnesses and any video of the shooting.

According to the police report, there was mention of a suspect in gray clothing who ran from the scene and two women told police they’d heard Cheers arguing with two other women before he was shot.
