Two sought for questioning in fatal shooting of Lorain teen


Lorain police are looking for two men in connection with the shooting death of 16-year-old Eduardo “Aaron” Vasquez.

Vasquez was killed about 12:15 a.m. Thursday. Police responded to the 500 block of Washington Avenue and found the teen unresponsive having suffered a gunshot wound. He was taken to Lorain-Mercy Health where trauma staff were unable to save him.

Warrants have been issued for Benjamin William Decost Jr., 20, and Dale Maurice Johnson, 21, both of Lorain in connection with Vasquez’s death. The warrants issued were for complicity to felonious assault and both men should be considered armed and dangerous, according to Lorain police.
