The NASA Plum Brook Station outside of Sandusky was on lockdown this morning following reports of an unauthorized person on the premises.
Jan Witty, the news chief for NASA’s Glenn Research Center, said all the employees there were safe, and noted that as of about noon, the lockdown was lifted. She referred further questions to local law enforcement. A message was left at the Erie County Sheriff’s Office.
Nearby EHOVE Career Center is also on a soft lockdown related to the intruder. Morning students are being kept at the school, and afternoon students are asked not to attend.
