Lois Ann Elliott (nee Crowell), 79, of Lakewood and formerly of Elyria, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018 following a brief illness. She was born August 14, 1938 in Elyria. Lois grew up on a farm in North Eaton.
She enjoyed caring for animals and everything about farm life. Lois was a member of the first graduating class of Midview High School in 1956. She enjoyed listening to country music and attended many concerts over the years. She would frequent Sandusky Speedway to watch the races and was an avid fan of Cleveland Indians baseball. She also loved any time spent with her family, particularly her grandkids and great-grandkids.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Charles Elliott, Sr. (Judy Elliott) of Lakewood, Debbie Harbst (Harry) of Elyria, Edward Elliott (Onemega) of Port St. Lucie, Florida and Kathryn Yosa (Jim) of LaGrange; grandchildren, Charles Jr., Matthew, Kendall, Michael, Zachary, Christopher, Lauren, Nicollette, Faith and Adam; great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Mason, Ethan, Landon, Kinsley, Logan, Elliott, Sophia and Gabe and many cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Elliott (1975) and brother, Ronald Crowell.
The family will receive friends Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 12 Noon to 1 P.M., at the Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second St., Elyria. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 P.M. following visitation. Burial will then follow at Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Grafton.
