Neale A. Timbs, 82, of Wakeman, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky. He was born November 4, 1936 to the late Theodore L. and Selina (nee Butler) Timbs in Wakeman, graduated from Townsend Wakeman High School in 1957 and spent the majority of his life in the Wakeman area.
Neale was an outdoorsman who enjoyed tent camping, fishing and hunting. He was a lifelong member of the Norwalk Eagles and a member of the Wakeman Congregational Church and had been a part of the Wakeman Fire Department at one time. He most recently worked for BD Plastics and had worked for Green Circle Growers for many years. Neale is survived by his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Marlene (nee Bailey) Timbs; their children, David (Sherry) Timbs of Vermilion, Vickie (Jack) Burgess of Lincolnton, North Carolina; sister, Beverly Stober of Wakeman; brother, Gale Timbs of Traverse City, Michigan; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and two cats, "Suzie Q" and "Snuggles".
In addition to his parents, Neale was preceded in death by an infant son, Mark Ralph.
Friends and family are invited to a graveside memorial service and burial at Wakeman Cemetery on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 2 P.M. with Pastor Delmer Bailey officiating.
