Shirley Mae Heath (nee Kazmierczak), 83, of LaGrange, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange following a lengthy illness. She was born May 10, 1935 in Grafton and was a graduate of Grafton High School.
She worked for Sunshine Biscuits and Parker Transfer. Shirley enjoyed reading, car races, loved all Cleveland Sports, followed all family school sports, taught Sunday School, active in Bible Studies and was a member of LaGrange UMC since 1962. Shirley was a wonderful wife, aunt and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles; brother, Albert (Ellen) of Elyria; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lottie Kazmierczak (nee Szczepanski); sisters, Dolores Kendle, Joyce Sibert, Norma Jean Kazmierczak and her brother, George.
Family will receive friends 4 to 7 P.M. on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57), Elyria (440) 322-4626. Funeral Services will be at 11 A.M., Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at LaGrange United Methodist Church, 1105 W. Main St., LaGrange. Pastor Andrew Scott will officiate. Burial will be at LaGrange Cemetery.
