CLEVELAND -- The Indians and Rangers were rained out Tuesday night at Progressive Field.

The teams will make it up as part of a traditional doubleheader Wednesday, with the first game beginning at 1:10 p.m.

Tuesday’s scheduled starter Zach Plesac (6-3, 3.41 ERA) will go for Cleveland in the opening game against Texas’ scheduled starter Tuesday, right-hander Ariel Jurado (6-6, 4.92).

The Indians will use their bullpen in Game 2, while the Rangers will start right-hander Lance Lynn (14-6, 3.71).

Employing the bullpen gives Cleveland the opportunity to push Wednesday’s previously scheduled starter, right-hander Mike Clevinger (6-2, 3.07), back to the series opener at Minnesota on Thursday.
